The Bacchus Quartet currently performs at around 65 weddings and functions a year all over the North West. Music can be chosen from our extensive repertoire to suit all tastes, and of course we'll play whatever you'd like at any point of the day, but we've put the following together as a guide to the most popular choices for the various parts of your day:
-
During the arrival of the guests, light classics, such as Boccherini's Minuet
-
For the entrance of the Bride, Pachelbel's Canon, Wagner's Bridal March or Handel's Arrival of the Queen of Sheba
-
For the signing of the register, Bach's Air, Delibes' Flower Duet and Faure's Pavane
-
For the departure of the Bride (processional), Handel's Hornpipe from the Water Music or Mendelssohn's Wedding March
-
For the wedding breakfast or during photographs or drinks, more light classics, including operatic overtures such as the Barber of Seville, to waltzes, such as the Blue Danube, to Joplin rags such as The Easy Winners, to jazz and cabaret numbers like Makin' Whoopee and Fly Me to the Moon.
You can hear samples of all these pieces on our REPERTOIRE page.
If we don't have a particular piece you'd like, we can have arrangements made for a small additional fee. Please let us know if there is a particular piece you are looking for via our CONTACT page, or by emailing us at the address below.
