THE BACCHUS STRING QUARTET WAS FORMED IN MANCHESTER IN 2000.
ALL FOUR MEMBERS STUDIED AT THE ROYAL NORTHERN COLLEGE OF MUSIC, WHERE THEY RECEIVED TUITION FROM MANY RENOWNED INTERNATIONAL MUSICIANS, BOTH AS CHAMBER MUSICIANS AND INDIVIDUALS.
The Quartet performs regularly at Manchester's Trafford Centre and gives more than fifty additional performances a year in and around Manchester at concerts, festivals, music clubs, weddings, private parties, wedding fayres and launch evenings.
As well as their work with The Bacchus Quartet, the current members work or have worked with the BBC Philharmonic, Hallé, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Manchester Camerata, the Ulster Orchestra and Northern Sinfonia.
